Let your inner mermaid or merman free and enjoy a sunset paddle on the water. Create a mermaid costume and join the paddle parade. Join us for our 3rd Annual International Mermaid Day paddle benefitting The Save the Manatee Club. We are proud to be Certified Guardian Guides and support this amazing organization in their efforts to conserve and protect these "real mermaids" that call Florida home. Let your inner mermaid or merman free and enjoy a morning on the water. Wear a mermaid or merman costume or dress in mermaid colors as we celebrate International Mermaid Day on beautiful Lake Ivanhoe, one of our favorite lakes in Orlando. We won't see any manatees on our paddle session of course but we go on so many adventures where we observe these gentle giants. We are proud to be certified as Guardian Guides and support the Manatee Club's efforts to conserve and protect these gentle giants. You can learn all about what they do and donate ahead of the event at https://www.savethemanatee.org/ We will be collecting cash donations at the event and we will have lots of information and give aways. Prizes for the best Mermaid, Merman and MerCouple will be awarded after the paddle. We will also have a table set up where you can learn more about Save The Manatee Club and pick up so Save the Manatee swag. Paddleboards and Kayaks welcome! If you don't have a Paddleboard or Kayak, you can rent one for the event. This event is beginner friendly, kid friendly and dog friendly. We will have multiple instructors on hand to make sure everyone feels safe and secure. $53 Event Fee includes: -Rental of Paddleboard or Kayak, paddle & safety equipment -Lesson or refresher if needed -Guided Paddle Tour/Parade around Lake Ivanhoe. -Photos of your time on the water will be shared Instructors/Guides are happy to help get everyone on the water safely.
