Description

Position Overview Coordinate the incoming and outgoing flow of materials in the warehouse. Responsibilities: *Check in and organize materials that come into the warehouse *Mark the locations of the materials on the bills of ladings *Issue materials to installers for jobs, help load and/or cut materials for the installers and operate the cutting machine *Keep track of any material balances left in the warehouse for a job *Coordinate material authorizations with the purchasing agent and accounts payable *Issue stock material from warehouse when needed *Conduct periodic inventories *Secure warehouse building and clean warehouse office *Organize the warehouse and put away materials *Maintain a neat, safe, and uncluttered warehouse *Occasionally pick up materials from vendors and make deliveries to job sites *Order supplies as needed *Maintain company grounds, including garbage bins and pallets *Maintain warehouse equipment (i.e. forklift, cutting machine) *Schedule installation Required Competencies: *Execute Action Plan *Initiate Action *Adapt and Change *Demonstrate Good Judgment *Building Trusting Relationships Requirements: *Must have a high school diploma/GED *Demonstrated knowledge of the products in the floor covering industry *Demonstrated knowledge of the operation of a warehouse *Demonstrated ability of mathematics, specifically fractions, measurements, and reading a ruler **Please respond with your resume.**
