Description

WILMINGTON, MA — Have you personally witnessed or experienced any problems with rail crossing safety systems in Wilmington since November? The town wants to know, in the wake of a January train-on-car crash that killed a resident. The town is interested in residents' first-hand accounts of incidents where "crossing guards did not come down, were delayed in coming down or remained in the down position." If you had such an experience, email [email protected] with details including the date and time, the town said. The town has consistently called for more information and action from the MBTA and its commuter rail contractor Keolis since the Jan. 21 crash that killed Roberta Sausville Devine. The agency announced new safety measures last week.
