Calf management practices can directly impact the finances of a ranch, especially if some of those calves remain on the ranch. During this program we will discuss the economics of managing calves. In the end what practices will yield the producer a higher return. Another way to gain more income through the calf crop is through value-added programs. Come learn through a panel discussion of small and large producers, market representative, and a third party verifier how the value added programs work and what management practices are implemented.
