GOWANUS, BROOKLYN — A teenage party crasher knifed two bouncers, one fatally, who wouldn't let him into a Gowanus event space Saturday night, according to the NYPD and a report. Jose Valasco, 19, became violent when two bouncers barred his way into a party at 168 Seventh St., a building housing a non-profit, tech support store, and musician space located near Third Avenue, at about 10:40 p.m., the New York Daily News reported. The three tussled until the unwanted guest pulled out a knife, stabbing Marvin Pretto, 25, in the chest and an as-yet unidentified 21-year-old bouncer in the back, police said. "I saw the kid just laying there motionless and all the blood," a neighbor told the Daily News of the aftermath of the stabbing. Both victims were rushed to a nearby hospital, where Pretto man died, according to the NYPD. The 21-year-old remained in stable condition, records show. Valasco was taken into custody and hit with manslaughter and criminal weapons charges, according to the NYPD.
