David has completed over 35 ultra distance races, including seven 100-mile races. After reading Scott Jurek’s book Eat and Run, David adopted a vegan diet, which transformed his running and his life. David has a Ph.D. in Plant Developmental Cell Biology, a certificate in plant-based nutrition, and is Chief Scientific Officer and Co-founder at Synthesis Capital, a new investment manager created to transform our food system through food technology
