Fundraiser Event: 2022 Together We're Kick'n Cancer (10th Annual) Facebook event link: Two years ago, our 10th annual event got postponed/canceled due to the pandemic. Well, we are back now thanks to Tumwater and Olympia High Schools. So, 10th annual event, take 2! This 10th annual event is once again going strong at Tumwater High School. The Tumwater Boys Soccer teams will take on the Olympia Bears in this annual Cancer Awareness Soccer Match. The Olympia Bears helped start this whole thing with Tumwater 10 years ago (ok, now technically 12 but the past two years didn't count) with the original "Winkler Cup." So it's such an honor to have them back again to help with the 10th annual event. Though these two schools are rivals on the pitch, they toss away their differences to come together this special night to raise money and awareness for us to permanently ban cancer from our lives. Most of the program is still being decided. But we know there will be lots of good soccer, money raised to fight cancer, and of course, food! 🙂 We know we will have the Olympia High School Dance Team performing at the Varsity Half-Time, the Tumwater Parks and Rec Dancers performing at the JV Half-time. The Tumwater High School Dance team ALSO performing at the Varsity half-time, a live singer/singers from the Tumwater High School Choir, Mr. & Mrs. Wonderful Fair Foods will be there with cotton candy and kettle corn, concessions for your other food needs. Price to get in: A donation at the door of whatever amount you can contribute ($5, $10 or more is greatly appreciated). ALL money raised, will go directly to American Cancer Society to help fight cancer. Please help our Relay for Life Team, Tumwater High School, Olympia High School, and everyone else help FINISH THE FIGHT against cancer. JV Game Starts at 5pm Varsity Game Starts at 7pm. Rain or shine (the stadium is covered), these athletes will fight cancer! And yes, there WILL be concessions available! You should make an evening of it.
