Monthly kids' horticultural activities! Regrowth in the gardens - cycle of reusing materials for a new purpose in nature! Springtime is a season of growth and renewal; a time where both plants and animals get a fresh start with the end of winter. But what does nature do with all of the leftovers from last year’s plants? This month Rockledge Gardens is diving into the world of decomposers - from fungi, to earthworms, to nature’s recycling process. We will also spend some time collecting items from nature to make fun, recycled crafts! This event includes games, activities, and a make-n-take project! Space is limited and reservations are required. The cost of this event is $10 per child and $8 for additional siblings. Parents are free to drop their kids off for the entire event. Children ages 4-12 are welcome to join. A ticket is required for each attending child. Materials included: crafts/games, fun activities, and more.
