Information via City of New London NEW LONDON, CT — Mayor Michael E. Passero and Fire Chief Thomas Curcio are pleased to announce that the City of New London Fire Department is aggressively recruiting a diverse group of local and area women and men interested in becoming a New London Firefighter/EMT. Monday, February 28th, 2022, at 6:30 PM at the New London High School STEM building Lecture Hall, there will be an informal opportunity to discuss and learn what it takes to become a City Firefighter/EMT. Those in attendance will meet with City Fire Department Personnel and City Personnel Officials to review the application and training processes and answer any of the participants' questions. The city urges those with a desire or an interest in the Firefighting and Emergency Medical Services to take this opportunity to attend this important information session.
