NEW HAVEN, CT —On the way to a call about a robbery in Fair Haven Saturday afternoon, two police cruisers collided at the intersection of Lombard Street and Blatchley Avenue, officials said. The two officers involved were taken to Yale New Haven Hospital where they were treated for minor injuries, according to police spokesperson Scott Shumway. Police ask that any witnesses who have not yet spoken with investigators contact the New Haven Police Department at 203-946-6316.
