NEW HAVEN, CT —Sunday night, an 18-year-old from New Haven, shot in the area of Moore Drive, was "dropped off" at a Hamden fire house, police said. Just before 9 p.m., New Haven police got a call about a shooting and learned that the victim, who had non-life threatening injures, was left at a fire station, according to New Haven police spokesperson Scott Shumway. American Medical Response took him to Yale New Haven Hospital where he's listed in stable condition, Shumway said. Police said the "crime scene" was located around Moore Drive, where ballistic evidence was found. Shumway said detectives from the Major Crimes Unit are leading the investigation.
