Press release from the Town of Brookfield: February 28, 2022 - 9:12am In addition to our annual "Shorts & to the Point" film festival at the Brookfield Theatre for the Arts, the Arts Commission is excited to announce the addition of a "Regional Indie Afternoon" festival for local independent filmmakers. The shorts on Friday and Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon will be the same films, and the Saturday afternoon venue will feature curated shorts from regional filmmakers from CT, NY, MA and RI.  All proceeds from the film festival will fund scholarships for one or more high school seniors from Brookfield who are pursuing a degree in the Arts.
