BROOKFIELD, CT —Veterans, Active Duty Reserve, Reserve, National Guard and their relatives are all invited to a "Veteran & Veteran Family Member Coffee & Donut Meet & Greet" 9 a.m.- noon, Saturday, Mar. 12, 2022 at Brookfield Town Hall, 100 Pocono Road, Brookfield. The event is sponsored by American Legion Post 202 serving Brookfield and Newtown. A U.S. Congressional aide and will be available to help with questions. American Legion Service Officer will also be there to assist. Residents are encouraged to bring their DD-214 to register with the town clerk and pick up Brookfield Tax Exemption Forms.
