Press release from Kendall County Sheriff's Office: 02/27/2022 4:00 AM 02/26/22   2022-0682, Speeding: On 022622 at 2:50pm, Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT52/Ashely Rd in Lisbon Township for speeding 101mph in a 55mph zone. Joseph Freeman, a 34-year-old male from the 17000 block of 71st Ave, Tinley Park was cited for speeding and released on his own recognizance. 2022-0683, DUI / Driving While License Revoked: On 02/26/2022 at 7:31 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on East River Road near North Bereman Road in Oswego Township for speeding. Gustavo A. Juarez Vargas, a 29-year-old male from the 800 block of Iowa Avenue in Aurora, was arrested for driving under the influence, and driving while license is revoked. Juarez Vargas was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing. 2022-0684, DUI: On 02/27/22 at 12:46 a.m., deputies were investigating a reckless driving complaint in the 100 block of Dolores Street in Oswego Township. During the investigation, contact was made with Salvador Gutierrez, a 51-year-old male from the 100 block of Dolores Street in Oswego, who was determined to be DUI. Gutierrez was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing. 2022-0685, Battery: On 02/27/22 at 3:04 a.m., deputies responded to the 0-99 block of Rocky Way in Oswego Township for a report of a battery. The investigation is ongoing. The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
