Description
CONCORD, NH — Wednesday marks the two-year anniversary of COVID-19's discovery in New Hampshire.
State health officials confirmed the first coronavirus case in the state on March 2, 2020, in Grafton County. Two years later, the Granite State has seen more than 297,000 cases and 2,373 deaths.
But deaths and cases were not the only outcomes of the coronavirus pandemic in New Hampshire and across the United States. The pandemic affected the way we all live our lives.
Everyone has been touched by the virus in some shape or form, from lockdowns to business closures, from masking to social distancing, and much more.
To acknowledge the anniversary, Patch is conducting a survey asking New Hampshire readers how the pandemic changed their lives, what losses they suffered, and how they have coped with economic and other hardships.
We have a number of specific questions, but you will also have a chance to give more open-ended answers if you wish. If you are willing to talk to a Patch editor for a story about this survey, you can share your contact information at the end.
The survey is not scientific but will give a general gauge of how New Hampshire Patch readers feel two years into the coronavirus pandemic. The survey will be open until noon Thursday.
If you wish to participate in the survey, you can access it here.
