Description

Press release from the Chester County Library System: February 28, 2022 What do you do when you need to create a great, big, magical library? You reach out to your local library of course! The Honey Brook Community Library donated 400+ books to be used in the "Beast's library" scene for the Pequea Valley High School music department's production of the musical, Disney's Beauty and the Beast. The Honey Brook Community Library receives over a thousand donated books each month, which are sorted by the Friends of the Honey Brook Library. These donated books may then be used in several ways - some go into the Book Boutique in our lobby for patrons to purchase, some go into our little free libraries in Honey Brook, some are boxed and saved for book sales, and some find a second life in our communities with requests like this!   If you want to see these books on display, showtimes for PVHS's production of Beauty and the Beast at Pequea Valley High School in Kinzers, PA are Thursday, March 3 @ 7 pm, Friday, March 4 at 7:30 pm, Saturday, March 5 at 2 pm & 7:30 pm.   Tickets can be purchased by emailing [email protected] or calling 717-768-5510 ext. 5509. They are $12 for adults and $6 for students & senior citizens.   This press release was produced by the Chester County Library System. The views expressed here are the author's own.
