WARRINGTON, PA — Four New York men were arrested Friday after robbing the Target on 401 Easton Road in Warrington, pepper-spraying a customer in the process, police said. Around 8:45 p.m., the Warrington Township Police Department received a call from the store about the robbery. The men were seen filling large bags with over-the-counter medications, police said. Then, when confronted by store security personnel, the men tried to go around security and leave the Target, police said. They said a security guard grabbed one of the bags while they were fleeing the store. As the men passed the registers, someone tried to stop the men and was sprayed with pepper spray, police said. The men then ran to an awaiting Mercedes in the parking lot and fled with more than $3,500 in merchandise, police said. Later, Montgomery Township police officers told Warrington police that they had stopped the Mercedes on County Line Road and New Britain Boulevard. Officers identified and arrested the men on robbery charges, they said. One was a minor, and was detained at the Bucks County Juvenile Detention Center in Edison. The other three men were brought to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility. "Witnesses to this event that have not spoken with us are asked to please call (215) 343-8423 or the Bucks County Radio Room," police said.
