Press release from the Town of Davidson: February 28, 2022 The Davidson community clearly cares about historic preservation. We heard that loud and clear during the public input for the Davidson Comprehensive Plan that historic preservation should be a priority as the town steps into the future. The Comprehensive Plan, and the 2020-21 Strategic Plan, identify the goal of developing a historic preservation plan. The process for doing so is long and arduous when done right, but Davidson launched this effort in Spring 2021 and is dedicated to completing the work this year.
