Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar, known for its handcrafted American food and drink, plans to hire 200 people for its new restaurant in San Mateo, Calif. located off Bridgepointe Parkway. The restaurant opening in April will offer competitive wages up to $20 for culinary positions and up to $16.20, plus tips, for hospitality roles. New employees are also eligible for $500 new hiring bonuses upon training completion. Designed to feel like a Rocky Mountain Wyoming escape, Lazy Dog’s warm interior will be complete with lodge-inspired furnishings such as cozy fireplaces, ledge stone, a chandelier crafted from Aspen logs, and artwork reminiscent of the Cowboy State. An outdoor patio will be built around a cozy fire pit and lounge area. At Lazy Dog, warm hospitality begins with a positive work environment for the restaurant’s more than 200 teammates.
