Drummer Seeks Bass For Instrumental Duo

I'm looking for a competent bass player who wants to play in a duo instrumental band. The sound I am seeking would be groovy, at times heavy, funky, and psychodelic. You don't have to be a Berkley graduate, but you should be comfortable enough with your bass to pull it off. No beginners please. If you have some cool pedals, bring them all. I'm thinking distortion, chorus, reverb, delay, and loop pedals when needed, but not required and ultimatley this would be your call. Ideally we would put together around an hours worth of mostly original material so we could hit the dive bar scene around town. Also, the band should be able to improvise when needed. I live in South Austin and will only practice at Space Rehearsal. Ideally you live South too and this is not a problem. I want this to be a fun project, as I'm not trying to make it big, but I do enjoy creating great tunes and performing them live, with the possibility of recording later. I also don't want to be the leader of the band, as I am looking for a collaborative team. Lastly, I'm not opposed to bringing a guitarist on board later if needed, but for now I want to keep it simple as too many people just creates more scheduling issues.
