Fremont Fire Department Helps Douse Union City Fire

UNION CITY, CA — A big rig and its trailer went up in flames in Union City Monday morning, and the Fremont Fire Department responded to help get the fire out before it could spread. When firefighters arrived around 11 a.m. they found a fully engulfed trailer and cab. While the building was scorched, it did not catch fire. The fire happened at Alvarado Niles Road and Central Avenue in Union City.
