https://gofund.me/31358f1e What started as work-related injuries in 2013 & 2016 progressed to a Post Concussive Syndrome diagnosis for Brandon by 2017. For three years, Brandon attempted to get back to work, but his symptoms began to worsen and his ability to partake in his usual activies declined. It wasn't long before his personality itself began to change. Brandon no longer wanted to do his job, spend time with his family and friends, and he couldn't understand why he was feeling this way. On August 28, 2017, his family rushed him to the hospital because he thought he was having a heart attack. It was diagnosed as a panic attack and from that day onward; he was physically unable to return to work. By October, the diagnosis was official: Post Concussive Syndrome (PCS). Over the last 5 years, Brandon and his family have been working to find a treatment that will ease his symptoms and allow him to be able to function more fully with his family, work to provide for his family, and improve his overall quality of living. They have worked with neurologists across Maine, tried countless medications and treatments to no avail, but they have finally found a doctor who is specialized in cases like Brandon's and had huge success in treating PCS. The problem is that the treatments are not covered under their insurance. Each treatment is between $400-$600 and will be required multiple times per week. Brandon's family is looking for any assistance possible to be able to pursue this treatment with high hopes of its success! Thank you so much for your support.
