Shakopee Council Approves Memorial Park Bridge

Press release from the City of Shakopee: December 9, 2020 Last week, the City Council awarded a contract for the Memorial Park Bridge and Trails Improvement Project. The project will replace the bridge removed in 2016 and realign the Minnesota Valley State Trail to avoid culturally sensitive areas. The new bridge will be similar to this trail bridge recently installed near the Highway 101/Flying Cloud roundabout in Chanhassen. We know residents have been looking forward to this important connection. Work is anticipated to start in January.
