People with BMI between 30 and 45 are needed for a clinical trial funded by the American Heart Association. Subjects my not be taking prescription medications to lower their blood pressure. The study will require a random assignment to either heat therapy intervention or timed control for approximately 10 weeks. -Age 18-59 -No smoking, diabetes, blood pressure medications, or heart disease -Not pregnant or currently breast feeding This study is being conducted in the Department of Human Physiology at the University of Oregon.
