Overseesthe day-to-day duties of all janitorial while performing routine cleaning ofoffices and public areas and maintenance of title and carpeted floors inbuildings; solves minor cleaning problems. Supervisor will assist in assigningwork schedules and in coordinating with cleaner. benefits are available. PRINCIPLE DUTIES · Determines type ofchemical and equipment necessary for specific cleaning tasks. · Assist in cleaning when necessary · Performs routinemaintenance of housekeeping equipment · Identifies cleaningproblems and determines appropriate remedies. · Maintains records,prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work. · Makes rounds to check forcrew coverage of designated work areas, assigns needed coverage. gives specialcleaning instruction and/or assignments, and ascertains compliance withdirectives. · Staff training of supplies, equipment, andarea assignments. SUPERVISORYRESPONSIBILITES: Responsibilitiesinclude assigning and directing work; addressing complaints and recommendingsolutions; reporting any disciplinary concerns to the project manager. REQUIREMENTS · 2+ years of supervisory or managerialexperience in the janitorial field with a strong emphasison customer service · Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment · Demonstrates strongskills in: Communication, Decision-making, Leadership, and Problem-solving · Familiar with methodsusing in cleaning of buildings, tools and equipment. · Knowledge of occupationalhazards and safety rules and regulations. · Ability to train andsupervise a large group of employees · Ability to work in ademanding, fast paced, high volume environment. · Demonstrates professionaland political aptitude · Strong computerproficiency emails, electronic inspections. · Must be a team player andcommitted to working in a quality environment. · Bilingual in Spanish is a plus · Must pass E-VERIFYbackground check, Salary DOE, WorkEnvironment Whileperforming the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed tonormal weather conditions for the area. While performing the duties of thisjob, may be working around semi-trucks and trailers, dumpsters, and vans. Thismay include construction areas and the hazards associated with such. The noiselevel in the work environment is usually moderate. Hearing Protection notrequired, but may be worn for comfort.
