We are Denver-based CHAMEL∃ON and we are looking for bassist! We've got an album on all streaming platforms with a second album nearly finished and we've already got shows booked for March, April and beyond. Not sure where all you thick-string specialists are hiding out, but around Denver you're proving difficult to find. Don't be shy about challenging yourself! This music is technical and complex and it has pushed us all to become better musicians than we were when we started this project. We would really like to lock down that 4th and final member of the group so we can take this to the next level and give the people a show they can get really excited about.
New bassist requirements:
-Advanced-level heavy rock/metal/progressive bassist who can play straight-forward finger style as well as some slap and pop
-At least some basic knowledge of music theory
-Can play in drop A tuning (a 5-string is required for most of these songs)
-Live performance gear
-Desired age range: 25-40ish (we can be flexible; current members are 30, 34 and 35)
-A reliable and responsible adult who can support themselves and show up consistently
-Someone who loves music and is willing to put in the practice hours

Shoot me a message if interested. We have our own practice studio at Soundstructure in RiNo and we rehearse Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00-9:30 and occasionally on weekends. Practice days can be adjusted to accommodate a new member.
