It is a phase 3 FDA approved trial of a CETP inhibitor as add on to statin therapy in patients with cardiovascular disease who are not adequately controlled on their current therapy. The study will last approximately one year.
Main criteria subject
Subject should also have a history of coronary artery disease, heart attack or peripheral vascular disease or familial hypercholesterolemia.
should be on atorvastatin 80mg or rosuvastatin 40mg
