Description
My corgi, almost 2 years old, is not responding well to my pregnancy and needs rehomed.
He is intact but our vet did recommend not breeding him due to a genetic kidney disorder. He does have to be on vet prescription food or he gets sediment build up in his kidney and urethra that has to be rinsed out by a vet. Other than that, he's perfectly healthy.
He is house trained, knows commands, kennel trained, and does well on a leash. He needs recall training.
He's friendly with dogs and older kids, but unsure about cats. I would not suggest for young kids as he is a strong herder and the noises and sudden movements can stress him out and cause triggers.
He is not food aggressive but he can become treat aggressive.
He is purebred. Up to date on all his shots including rabies. He comes with 2 kennels, his food and its storage container, harnesses and leash, medical records, and whatever toys he hasn't destroyed.
I will only meet local in Morgantown. First come first serve.
He is loving and friendly, he just does best in a structured home without many life changes, and unfortunately we cannot provide that. He's incredibly smart and would do well with some extra attention to behavior training to be absolutely perfect.
His rehoming fee is $850 obo, due to him being purebred and intact, to ensure he's not going to a mill.
