Description
I'm the (only) guitarist for a cover band in Troy. I've been working with the drummer for about 5 or 6 years. We've had a revolving door of front men, guitar players, bass, keys, etc. The band has gig'ed off and on and regrouped a couple times. We're regrouping, looking to play a few gigs a a few months out when the pandemic is just pink noise.
Aside from this I'm looking for another guitarist to practice with outside of my band, but it would be even better if you were part of the band as well. I'm looking for a peer not a competitor. There's so much cool 2 and 3 guitar part stuff that would be fun to work on, for that purpose alone, but adding it to my band would be icing. I've been playing for 40 years. I've got some very nice gear. I'm not a shredder, but I've got chops, style. Very willing to share what I know (besides collecting I also build), I'd like to learn from you, see if we can complement each other and resulting in more than the sum.
Let the noise begin.
