The Removal Technician will be responsible for the respectful removal of the deceased from their place of death after normal business hours. This is not full time work. It is an on call position. Weekday shifts begin at 5 pm and go until 8 am the following morning. Weekend shifts are from 8 am to 8 am the following morning. The Removal Technician needs to be ready to respond to calls as they are received. Other duties of the Removal Technician is to maintain accurate paperwork for all transfers and to ensure company vehicles are maintained and restocked. This role is entry level and can serve as a catalyst to a career in the Funeral Industry for the right candidate. As a member of the Ayres team, the Removal Technician will display emotional intelligence, empathy, and attention to detail while working with the public, healthcare professionals, and other team members. This work is important and can be very rewarding at times.
