JOB DESCRIPTION: Only honest, trustworthy individuals with a solid work ethic need apply. MUST HAVE: 18 years of age and older Valid driver’s license. Excellent customer service skills. Computer skills; able to learn new software through training. Ability to work outdoors and indoors, perform manual labor. OUTDOOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist customers. • Keep grounds cleared of all trash and debris. • Check and clean all emptied units, perform necessary maintenance. • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly tasks as outlined in the procedures’ manual. • Lawns – mow, weed eat, run blower, pull weeds. • Snow – shovel and plow facility as necessary, throw snowmelt. Must be able to operate the large plow on the company work truck and the small plow on the company side-by-side. • Must be able to drive, park, and fuel rental trucks. • Must be able to perform necessary service for prepping a truck for rental. o Check all fluids, add fluid as necessary, document fluid accurately. o Check tires thoroughly. Add air as necessary. o Clean cab, box, and windows. o Complete a rental prep form. • Perform truck rental inspections with customer present. INDOOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist customers: o Move renters in and out of units navigating Quikstor software. o Take payments. o Sell inventory. o Telephone calls. • Filing. • Typing. • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly tasks as outlined in the procedures’ manual. • Operate Rentalnet software for truck rental quotes, reservations, active contracts. • Document fluids and fuel accurately for rental trucks. • Work with branch team for effectively operating the truck rental business as an agent. • Work with local vendors who perform various services on rental trucks.
