Help! Home needed ASAP. Free to a good home with references.

Two very loving older cats need a new home ASAP to advoid going to the shelter. These cats belonged to a lady who passed away from breast cancer. She had them their whole lives and they have always been together. I will separate but really would like for them to be able to stay together because they really do love each other so much. They are somewhere between 12 and 15 years old, and both have been fixed. The black one is a boy, he is solid black. He is fat and lazy lol. He loves to be petted and purrs the whole time. The Yellow and white one is a girl and she is SO sweet! She just wants to sit beside you and have her head scratched a little bit. She purrs all the time as well, even when not being petted. They have both been pretty lonely since the owner passed so they just want to be loved. Due to the fact that they are older they really don't mess with anything or make a lot of mess. They just want to lay around and be loved on. They really are both very very sweet and loving cats. I would be happy to answer any questions that I can. I am not asking for any fee however, I will be asking for references just to make sure they are going to a good home. Please if you are reading this and they are not a good fit for you then please at least help spread the word about them. Unfortunately I can not keep them for long and if a home is not found they will have to go to a shelter and I so do not want that for them at all.
