YACHT CLUB LABORER Manhattan Yacht Club is looking for positive, can-do type of individual to maintain our equipment and boats. This position will involve: • working on steel cleaning rust and painting • working on landscaping spreading soil and maintaining a lawn • working on docks repairing wood beams • working on boats cleaning interiors and sanding & painting About Us: Manhattan Yacht Club is the premier sailing club in New York Harbor with over 450 members. Manhattan Sailing School is the Club’s public arm and is one of the top schools in the U.S. Our clubhouse/office/fleet is located in downtown Jersey City, at a marina. Job Description: Includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks: • Maintaining club grounds in tidy manner • Assist maintenance team on club projects • Watching inventory of parts and alerting when purchases are needed • Ad hoc projects as assigned Requirements: • Positive attitude and flexibility for various projects assigned.
