Landscaping Positions for 2022 Season

Custom Landscapes is a small and growing landscaping company operating out of Chittenden County. I am currently seeking folks to join the team for 2022 starting in the spring. At Custom Landscapes we do it all including but not limited to Spring/Fall Cleanups, Hardscapes, Plantings, Fences, mowing, and other odd jobs. There’s a few positions I’d like to fill. Lead gardener -Knowleadgeable of plants and how to care for them Ability to work independently and with a team, doesn’t mind a lot of weeding Excellent and positive communicator as this person would have plenty of time interacting with clients Detail Oriented. - If you have a good eye for it and/or have experience with garden design there is a possibility this could be incorporated Stone Mason -Experience with patios, walls, and walkways. -Detail Oriented Interest and ability in doing lots of other things as well, Spring Cleanups, Plantings, Fences, Etc. Experience with machinery and driving trucks and trailers General Laborer Someone who wants to learn the ins and outs of landscaping. Garden maintenance, stone work, plantings, fences, etc. - Would fill in where is needed All Positions require hard physical work. Some days will be harder than others, and we work in all weather within reason. We always try to emphasize quality while also showing clients that we are working hard. You need to be honest and reliable, and willing to go the extra mile to do the job right, and also willing to ask for help and be excellent communicators. Reliable transportation is a must and the ability to drive a truck/trailer is also helpful. This is a good opportunity to join a growing company and learn a lot and not get bored doing the same thing every day. You will be joining a fun crew, and I do my best to be a good, reasonable, and positive boss. Compensation is $17-$20/hr depending on experience with room to increase. There is also end of season bonuses and a couple paid holidays. I would ideally like to find folks who are interested in staying with the company long term. I will also mention that work is full time, but I do not require folks to work overtime. There is certainly the possibility to get some overtime hours, but I do not expect it.
