*Property management firm looking for an experienced maintenance tech to work with our internal maintenance staff for doing apartment maintenance for old tenants and "make-ready" for new tenants. Maintenance tech requirements: *Must have your own vehicle, valid driver's license and current car insurance, *Must have basic hand tools, *Must have basic maintenance knowledge and be willing to learn quickly, *Must be able to take direction and work as a team player, punctual and reliable mandator, ability to work as part of a team, fast paced environment, working under direct supervision of lead staff, *Knowledge in using a paint sprayer, janitorial cleaning, general repairs, toilet and faucet replacement, electrical knowledge, tile replacement and repair, some knowledge of furnace repair/replacement. Some nights and weekends are required based on due dates and work load Make-ready requirements: *Preparation of unit after tenant vacates our property in preparation for new tenants *Paint and clean every unit *Complete water program on every unit (replace toilets) *Update lighting/plumbing fixtures as needed *Complete required repairs per lead inspection and request *Complete paperwork on all units *Report any repairs needed such as broken windows to management This position requires the ability to work as a team member and in a fast paced environment. *This position is a 1099 position and paid as a sub-contractor averaging 45 hours per week (Hours 9-5:30 - some weekends required). *Work Location (N/NW Milwaukee): -On the road, work remotely Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour depending on experience.
