I have no idea why Monty’s original post was flagged. He is still needing a home and we are only asking a small rehoming fee. We just want to help him find a safe, loving home. If you’ve emailed, I have answered. He is still available. I’ve added my phone number this time to try and make contact easier. Monty is a 7 month old Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull) puppy looking for his forever home. He was taken in by a family member at six weeks old (mom was refusing to nurse so owners started rehoming the puppies early). Unfortunately, due to the family member’s work schedule increasing we recently ended up with him but can’t keep him long-term due to having a full house of animals ourselves. Monty is crate-trained, housebroken (does have occasional accidents). He is currently 40+ lbs but could get to 60-70 lbs full grown. He was neutered on 2/9, up to date on all vetting including preventative meds. He is dog- & people-friendly but he is also a puppy so he is big, strong & will knock whoever or whatever is in his way! Because of this, he may not be a good fit for those with young kids. He has some anxiety when we’re home but not in the room with him. He’s fine at night in his crate while we’re sleeping. But when we’re awake, he wants to be with us always! We will provide basic medical records and will arrange to have his chip updated and all vet records transferred to your vet. He comes with his martingale collar, harness, leash, food bowl plus some food & toys to get you started. For an additional $20, we can also include his new extra large crate. His adoption fee is $60 to help him find a safe, loving home. We are located in Castle Shannon but can also meet at a public place (ideally in the South Hills but can meet elsewhere in the Pittsburgh area).
