FOUND: stolen Trek carbon fiber mountain bike

This weekend I discovered that a bike had been thrown (abandoned? concealed?) into a juniper bush in my front yard. It was clearly an expensive bike when new but has since seen hard use and it needs some attention to be rideable. There is no serial number under the bracket, and no one thought to put a slip of paper with their contact info into the seat tube. But the owner should have no problem describing the bike and its aftermarket parts. Just reply with a description and an account of how it went missing to claim it. (This is not an invitation to play "guess what it looks like and win a free bike." This needs to get back to its owner.)
