Corey, Canapary & Galanis (CC&G) is a thriving San Francisco market research firm. While in business nearly 100 years, CC&G provides innovative solutions to our clients using modern technology and methods. We are seeking candidates to work as a full-time (34-40 hours) as a Bilingual (English/Spanish) market research interviewer for a specific project lasting about 3 months (through late May). Of a 5-day work week, about 2-3 days per week will be in the field (on public transportation, conducting surveys), while the other 2-3 days per week will be conducting surveys by phone. The split of phone/field will be determined by the needs of the project. This work informs many planning and public policy initiatives throughout the Bay Area. (Some travel time is compensated. You do NOT need your own vehicle.) To be considered for this role, candidates MUST: • Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide legitimate documentation of same, as all work at CC&G involves heavy public contact. (Job offers are contingent on this requirement.) • Adhere to ALL COVID-related protocols, which may be stricter than those for the general public and may vary due to changing circumstances. • Be fully bilingual (English/Spanish) and be able to conduct interviews competently in both languages, translating "on the fly" as needed. • Work a combination of both in the field (in public) and on the phone. The field/phone split will vary based on current project needs, with likely 2-3 days field and 2-3 days phone. • Be available for and regularly work a varied schedule with non-standard hours -- either mornings or afternoon/evenings, and at least one weekend day (Sat/Sun). • Closely follow detailed instructions (both written and oral). • Easily and regularly perform work which requires standing, walking, and/or moving up to 4-6 hours at a time. •Possess a professional phone demeanor and be able to conduct a survey in both English and Spanish over the phone, following detailed protocols. • Communicate proactively (in a timely manner) – both in speaking and writing. • Be the person you would like to work with! This includes operating in an honest and professional manner, as well as working well with people from all backgrounds (both coworkers and the general public) and treating everyone respectfully.
