Press release from the City of Champaign: In order to repair a damaged hydrant and valve, Illinois American Water will close one southbound lane of Neil Street between White Street and Springfield Avenue. The closure will begin on Thursday, December 17, and will reopen on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. Southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane during the closure.
