Plotthound/Pit bull mix

Ok so this might be a long shot but here goes. I have a about 5 year old Plotthound/ pit mix. She is brindle stipes. She is fixed. She is a GREAT dog however. I have a 17 month old baby and a really small apartment. She has been growling at the baby for quite some time even if the baby is just walking near her. She is a little nervous and comes off very aggressive to people when meeting them. I don't want to have to put her down just because I can't have her around the baby. She cannot be around children I wouldn't recommend it at all. She likes to go to the park and walk but she lunges sometimes. She is house trained loves to cuddle if your an adult and she trusts you. She needs a yard which I don't have at the moment and she needs someone who has enough time and patience to work with her so she can be hr best self. She uses a prong collar bc she pulls. She loves chicken lol
