You must be great with animals and people! This is a service job and sometimes you will have to interact with clients so you must be friendly. Due to the nature of this job you should live in Brooklyn or an area that is easily accessible to our coverage area. Dog walking is a fun and rewarding job but can also be a lot of work. We want our walkers to enjoy their job but also expect a high level of responsibility and reliability. You must be good at managing time. The pay is generous and opportunities for evening/weekend walks (at a higher level of pay) as well as dog sitting will come up often so the more availability you are the more money you will make. We do not have a lot of turnover and find our walkers tend really like their jobs. We encourage a friendly environment where you'll be part of a team and want our walkers to stay with us (happily) as long as possible. If you're interested please send an email and cover letter telling us a little about yourself and why you'd be great for this job, what your experience with animals is (both personal and/or professional), please include a resume in the body of your email (even if you don't have professional experience with animals). Thanks for reading. We look forward to hearing from you!
