Eve of Nations is one of the largest annual Multicultural shows at OU, in Norman, and across the entire State of Oklahoma. Organized by IAC, its purpose is to celebrate the diverse array of cultures, traditions, and heritage of countries all over the world. This year is extra special as it is our Golden Jubilee. With the theme, the Golden Renaissance, this years' Eve of Nations aims to showcase the power of unity and acceptance of the different walks of life that people come from, especially after the last 2 years of the pandemic. Forty-eight years ago, in 1970, the International Advisory Committee (IAC) was established and it set off on an incredible journey of many possibilities. In its noble pursuit to be the voice of the international student organizations at the University of Oklahoma, serve as the umbrella organization for the international student organizations, organize and facilitate various intercultural, social, political, and intramural events among members, and promote and increase awareness of the international community at the University of Oklahoma, is as relevant today as it was in 1970.
