Draughts & Laughs returns on March 26, 2022 in a monster way as Five of Bmore & DC Hottest Young Comedians descend on Checkerspot Brewing, South Baltimore & Federal Hill to bring the incandescent funny! Show Time is 8:00PM. Show seating will begin at 7PM. The brewery opens at noon on Saturdays. #FREEPARKING Food service (is incredible) and full drinks service is available. No Outside Food or Drink! Tickets are $15 in advance or can be purchased at the door for $20.* Ashley Pontius got her start at the age of sixteen, writing jokes for comedians twice her age. After a brief period working on Stephen Colbert's Campaign for Truthiness, she decided to pursue comedy as a career. She has been seen at the Laugh Factory in Chicago, Church of Satire in Hanover, PA, and comedy clubs all over the country. Ashley was a 2019 Finalist for Magooby's Comedian of the Year and most recently opened for Matt Braunger at the Weinberg Center for the Performing Arts in Frederick, Md. Megan Graves As a young, hypersexual bisexual trying to find her voice in the world and on the internet, Megan’s comedy has been described as “a little gross, but very endearing”. She hopes that through outwardly processing and blatantly over sharing her own journey, her audiences will join her in celebrating all of the weird, painful, and empowering steps it takes to become a Bad Bitch Garrett Hardy Harvest Growing up in West Orange, NJ; Garrett’s unique experiences with life has made him the charismatic comedic talent that he is today. With a goal of one day making the whole world laugh, he spends everyday traveling from place to place making sure he completes that. He is a talent out of Baltimore City that you need to keep your eyes on. You can see him regualry at MaGooby's Joke House and Wits End. Jordan Segue Is a throwback 5 tools player… his robust stage persona is outlandish and infectious. He also promotes and produces his own shows, as well as crafts and creates some of the most tasty culinary productions! Matt Pennington Raised Annapolis, MD, he got his start in stand up during his senior year of college. His comedy is focused on having as much fun as possible while exploring concepts about life and society that he finds are out of sync. To him, joking and laughing are the best way to understand anything. Host: Mike Quindlen (producer of this very show) lives in Baltimore, but is from Philadelphia. He has opened for Rich Vos, J.B. Smoove, Alonzo Bodden, the late John Weatherspoon, Doug Stanhope and a few other legends. Mike is also the founder and creative director of the Ellicott Silly Comedy Festival.
