2022 Labor Day Cruise to Cape Charles - Our Annual Tradition! Please join YRYC's annual trip to Cape Charles for Labor Day weekend. We will stay again at the town harbor and currently we have reservations for 15 slips. Members should contact Town Harbor to reserve their slip (contact information at https://capecharlesharbor.com). Note: This is different than in years past. It is possible to get more slips currently but this will be limited as time goes on. We also encourage members to rent golf carts or bicycles to make transportation easier but we are also close to the town if you prefer to walk. Please reserve early as this trip sells out at the marinas as it's in high demand from all over the bay. We will coordinate trip fleets depending on number of boats attending. Some may prefer to leave on Friday and others on Saturday, with a Monday return. Cruise Committee will be working together with the Rear Commodores on an event schedule as we have in the past trips with food and activities. EventBrite registration fee will fund these activities. Dockage Rates: $3/ft + 30 amp $5/day, 50 amp $15/day Founded in 1985, we are a social group of sailors and power boaters on the York River near the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay. Sponsors of the York River Cup! Our membership is made up of boaters from a number of area marinas, including York River Yacht Haven, Crown Pointe Marina and Wormley Creek Marina.
