Press release from the City of Twinsburg: October 30, 2020 Traffic Advisory - October 30, 2020 - Darrow Road Closure TRAFFIC ADVISORY - October 30, 2020 SR 91, Darrow Road Closure (South of I480 Intersection) A storm culvert replacement project will begin on October 2, and will be completed in two phases. Each phase will require State Route 91 to be closed and detoured for a period not to exceed a weekend. On Friday, October 30 at 8:00 PM, the northbound lanes of Route 91 will be closed at the I-480 interchange. The closure will occur just south of the I-480 interchange near the BP Gas Station. Traffic will be detoured via Highland Road to Chamberlin Road and State Route 82. Construction will begin immediately after the detour is established, and is expected to continue until 6:00 am Monday morning. Southbound traffic will remain unchanged during this stage of the project. After the weekend closure, northbound traffic will be maintained, but reduced to a single lane as the construction proceeds across the road. Phase 2 of the project, affecting the southbound lanes is planned to take place the following weekend. State Route 91 under I-480 will have various lane restrictions through mid-November.
