City Gives Employee Awards At Service Recognition Ceremony

Press release from the City of Champaign: On November 18, 2020, the City held its annual Employee Awards and Service Recognition Ceremony. This year's ceremony was conducted virtually due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Employee Awards The employee awards recognize staff who exhibited exemplary commitment toward the pursuit of the City's organizational philosophy. Thirty individuals received awards for demonstrating the City's values of Personal Integrity, Responsibility, Respect, and Results. Nineteen teams, comprised of 141 people from across all City departments, also received employee awards in the Teamwork category for their accomplishments during the last year. Service Recognition Eighty-six employees received recognition for having achieved 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 20, or 35 years of service to the City. The City of Champaign applauds and thanks everyone who received an Employee Award or Service Recognition for their accomplishments and commitment to serving Champaign's residents over the last year.
