Description

Enjoy another incredible wine tasting with our Master Sommelier, Olivier Flosse, for a special tour to the most famous Italian wine regions. Say 'Italy,' and indelible images of Florence and Sienna, great paintings and sculptures of the Renaissance, villas with romantic landscapes, and especially fine food and wine come to mind. So does Chianti, the most familiar wine from the heart of this Italian region. But the wines of Italy can offer a wider discovery. In this class, hosted by Olivier Flosse, our Master Sommelier and expert on Italian wines, we’ll review and sample a broad selection representative of the abundance and variety of Italian wines, from a crisp and floral Prosecco, to a warm and harmonious Cannonau. And yes, we’ll taste a fine Chianti Classico as well. Cost: $50.00 per person (includes $25 gift card) Light appitezers accompany this event. Special discounts available for all of the featured products after the event. All reservations can be made on Eventbrite or email us at: [email protected] Prosecco, La Marca, Rosé, NV, Treviso Shining from the first toast to the last sip, our playful pop of pink offers an effervescent new way to enjoy La Marca Prosecco. Featuring the crisp fruit and floral essence of our traditional Prosecco with the delicate elegance of Pinot Noir, La Marca Prosecco Rosé sparkles with our classic notes of fresh-picked citrus, white flowers, and pear, blending with hints of ripe red cherry, raspberry, and fresh strawberry. Refreshing and zesty, this bubbly is perfect for both lively soirées and spontaneous celebrations. Fontaleoni, Vernaccia Di San Gimignano, 2020, Tuscany Straw yellow coloured, floral and fruity notes. Crisp on the palate, tasty with a lively acidity. Monteraponi, Chianti Classico, 2020, Tuscany Initially dark, ruby red; during maturation it loses intensity, and takes on a warmer tone bouquet - mesmerizing scent, redolent of violets taste - warm, dry, and harmonious, with plumy fruit flavors, and an aristocratic oak overtone. Sella & Mosca, Cannonau Di Sardegna, Riserva, 2019 Sardegna Dark ruby-red. Musky notes of ripe dark cherry, earth tones, and cedar; then brighter and more linear, with fresh flavors of black/red fruit, complicated by herbs and earthy spices. Finishes juicy and long.
