Houston Braids Presents: The Inaugural Braid Boss™️ Competition Join the most iconic, and reputable braiders with SKILLS as they compete for over $3,000 in cash and prizes! How to compete: Purchase the “Braider Entry Ticket” to be added to competitor list. Ticket covers entry plus two assistants and supplies. NO REFUNDS Braider Entry Rules: 5 hours, 3 different looks on 3 different models! $75 Entry Fee (EARLY BIRD) Some braiding supplies included in price for competition** 1. First round: Creative. In this round you can let your light shine bright ! No theme , Just all you get creative as you can and come out the gate SWINGING OKAYY! Come up with a braided look that will be sure to blow the Judges and audience away ! 2. Second round: Good Vs. Evil In this round you will wow the audience with how good or bad you can be by creating a super hero or villain inspired look! Style must include braids. 3. Third round: Jungle Vibes In this round you can create a look from any ascpect of the Jungle you choose and be ready to leave the crowd in awe as we journey through the Jungle in Style! Style must include braids. Winner will receive: $1000 dollar cash prize and the title of Braid Boss Braider Rules: 1. Models must be washed, and blow dried prior to completion. 2) and props that you may be adding to the clients hair may be created before competition day . Please check with Ashlyn before hand for clearance. 713 438 7691. 3. THERE CAN BE 3 PEOPLE PER TEAM . IF YOU CHOOSE TO COMPETE ALONE THAT IS UP TO YOU. No Exceptions! 4. Must arrive by 10:00am day of competition WITH Models for check-in. Make-up can be completed Prior to event but IS NOT A REQUIREMENT. Contest will start at 12pm. 5. Braiders will be graded on the following: neatness, creativity, time, overall final look. 6. Curlers, flat irons and blow driers are allowed. GO BIG OR GO HOME! Donae is a fully licensed, professional braider and Certified Trichologist with over 15 years experience. Shes owned 2 salons and worked at multiple natural hair and braiding salons around Houston. She currently owns and operates a hair braiding school in Houston Tx. Houston Braids Training Center.
