The Loc Den Natural Hair Salon is hosting a private small group Loctician Training Workshop in Missouri City (Greater Houston Area) on March 6th & 7th from 10 AM to 3 PM! Experience hands on lessons with Shenate’ Lemar (Owner of The Loc Den) working with high-quality 4C Afro Kinky Mannequin Heads in addition to real dreadlock models to cultivate valuable Loctician skills! Locticians are in high-demand as dreadlock hairstyles become more and more popular throughout the world! Investing in Locitican skills could lead to a plethora of lucrative future working opportunities! Learn from dreadlock experts with decades of experience who’ve mastered dreadlock services for various hair types. Our private workshops are limited in size to ensure each student gets high quality individualized attention. Day 1 (March 6th) features the Beginner and Intermediate Level Workshop. Beginner Workshop Includes: Starter Locs with comb coils, two Strand Twists, Braid Locs & interlocking. Loc maintenance with palm roll, interlocking & care to ensure clients hair is healthy and growing.Basic styling (cornrows, fishtail styles, & updos).Intermediate Workshop Includes: Braiding Locs and interlocking maintenanceAdvanced styling techniquesTwo and three in one stylingRepairs and reconstructionWrapped Loc Extensions with Human Hair Day 2 (February 28th) features the Advanced Level Workshop. Each Workshop Day is a total of 5 hours of training, with additional time for practice and questions following the formal instruction session.
