Press release from the City of Fountain Valley: Posted on: November 19, 2020 Thanksgiving Holiday Trash Collection Schedule In observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday on Thursday, November 26 trash collection will be moved back one day. Thursday's trash collection will be on Friday, November 27, and Friday's trash collection will be on Saturday, November 28. Street Sweeping Schedule Street sweeping scheduled for Thanksgiving Day, Thursday November 26 will move to Friday, November 27 and Friday's street sweeping will be on Tuesday December 1. Please remember to remove vehicles and trashcans off the street to allow the street sweeper to properly clean the street and prevent trash from entering the storm drain system and polluting the ocean.
